How does a hypnosis show work?

The hypnotist introduces hypnosis, then invites volunteers to join. With simple suggestions, they are led into a state of focus where they live surprising and funny situations in front of the audience. No one is ever forced: only volunteers take part, and they can stop at any time. A show usually lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour 30.

Stage hypnosis or hypnotherapy?

Abracagency brings together stage hypnotists who perform at events. If you are looking for a hypnosis session to stop smoking, lose weight or manage stress, you need a hypnotherapist, who sees clients in a practice.

For which events?

Corporate events and seminars, where hypnosis makes the whole team laugh; galas and student parties; weddings, for a highlight after dinner; adult birthdays. Plan a small stage or a clear space, and a microphone for large groups.

Frequently asked questions

Is stage hypnosis dangerous?

No. A professional hypnotist only works with volunteers, puts them at ease and brings them back to their normal state at the end. They avoid topics that could make anyone uncomfortable.

Can everyone be hypnotised?

No, and that is normal: the hypnotist chooses among the volunteers those who respond best to suggestions. The others enjoy the show from the audience.

How much does a hypnotist cost?

Each artist shows a starting price. A hypnosis show takes more preparation than cocktail entertainment and usually costs more; the final price depends on the length, the number of guests and the type of event.

How far ahead should I book?

One to three months ahead, more for December and end-of-year corporate parties.
